Contact Management
A contact is a person with whom you do business. The contact manager tool allows you to store telephone, address, and e-mail information for anyone.
View Your Contacts
Access your contacts by clicking the "Contacts" button at the top of Web Cliento. When you do, all of the contacts and organizations that you have currently entered
should be displayed, alphabetized by name. Clicking on a contact or organization will bring up its details, while using the "Add" buttons at the bottom of your
contacts and organizations table will bring up the form to add a contact or organization, respectively.
Adding A Contact or Organization
The forms for adding a contact or organization are very simple - enter some basic information and click "Create". You'll be brought to the summary screen, which displays
the information that you just entered. Please note that some fields such as Last Name (for Contacts) or Name (for organizations) are required. If you did not enter all
of the requisite information, you will need to adjust your form entries before proceeding.
Associating Addresses, Telephone Numbers, and E-mail Addresses
We built Web Cliento to be very flexible in the ways that you can enter CRM data. To that end, we made it possible to have any number of addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses associated
with one contact or organization. While viewing a contact or organization, click the "Add" button in the appropriate table to add one of these items.
Linking Contacts and Organizations
You may have several contacts at one organization that you want to track in Web Cliento. Or, you may have a contact who is associated with multiple organizations.
Fortunately, Web Cliento allows these multiple relationships. While viewing a contact's information, you can see all of the organizations with which he/she is associated, and
add organizations to the contact. Conversely, when you view an organization you can add or drop the contacts associated with it.
