Event Scheduling
Events are what you will use to plan and track interactions with your customers.
Schedule Views
There are several ways to view your CRM schedule. When you first access the tool by clicking "Schedule", you will see a view for the current week. Use the links at
the top of the page to switch to view the current day or month-at-a-glance. In week and month views you can see how many events are scheduled or logged on a particular
day. The day view lists those events by their description at the time when they took place (or are planned to take place).
Planning or Logging Events
The scheduler allows you to both plan events that will take place in the future (useful for time management and preparation) and record events that have already taken
place (useful for tracking and analysis). To add an event, select the day and click the time when you want to add it. Select the event's start and end time, enter a
summary and description, then click "Add Event". The confirmation page should list all of the day's events including the one you just added.
Associating Events With Leads and Accounts
Event planning and logging becomes especially useful when you associate a meeting, telephone call, or other kind of event with a lead or account. This not only allows you
to keep track of the people with whom you are interacting, but helps Web Cliento's analysis tools determine how much service you are giving to a particular customer.
