Windows enhancements in place for Poker Mate to run properly: Both of these packages may be installed through Windows Update. Alternatively, links to the setup files are provided when you purchase Poker Mate. Poker Mate is a software companion for Texas Hold 'Em games on Party Poker and Empire Poker. While we do not plan to make it compatible with Omaha and other poker games, we do plan to include other online Texas Hold 'Em sites. If you have any suggestions for a poker site that you'd like to use with Poker Mate, please send us an e-mail! Poker tables with more than 10 players may not be compatible with Poker Mate. In addition, special tournaments that are offered sporadically by Party Poker and Empire Poker might use a different log file format, which would cause problems in reading hand histories. Because the log files generated by Party Poker and Empire Poker are locked while in use, they must be copied to the program directory before they are parsed. Therefore, Poker Mate must have "write" permissions in the directory where it is installed. Don't worry - in Windows, this is usually the default. |
