Poker Mate receives approval from Party Gaming
August 3, 2006 - The question of whether or not Poker Mate
is legal for use with Party Poker has finally been answered. After a review of the
algorithms and programming behind the online poker aide, PartyGaming sent us a message
simply stating that "the program Poker Mate does not currently violate our policy." They
further offered to keep subsequent versions under constant review to ensure their
continued suitability.

The approval of Poker Mate for use with Party Poker (and its subsidiary Empire Poker) is
a huge advantage over other programs. Many programs advertised to help you win at poker
are not sanctioned by Party.
| Program |

| Poker Mate | Approved |

| Holdem Memory | Banned outright |
| PokerBot Plus | Banned outright |
| PokerEdge | Banned outright |
| Poker Prophecy | Banned outright |

The Consequences of Using Other Programs
Party Poker's advanced software continually monitors your computer for illegal programs while
you play. If any illegal software is detected, the consequences can be severe:
- PartyGaming will e-mail you to demand the immediate cessation of all unfair practices
- PartyGaming may suspend your account for the purposes of conducting a thorough investigation
- Ultimately, they reserve the right to terminate your account indefinitely and for all funds in the account to be forfeited (see section 5, 19, and 21 of their Terms and Conditions of Use)
The safe solution is Poker Mate. Our tracking software is
useful, powerful, and does not violate Party Gaming policies. Why put your hard-earned winnings at risk?

Excerpts from the Unfair Advantage Policy
The Use of BOTS
Certain companies offer for sale programs (“BOTS”) specifically created to play a game in place of an actual (human) player, and conceal its use from the other
players, and avoid detection by the online gaming site. These programs are marketed by explicitly promising the prospective purchaser-user an unfair advantage
over other online players not using that program.
Does PartyGaming forbid/discourage all online programs?
No, definitely not. Our own website provides programs for playing online. Our objective however, is in providing and promoting a level playing-field and the
best possible user-experience for all of our Players.
What counter-measures is PartyGaming taking to prevent the use of BOTS?
Identification and detection counter-measures are in-place now and have been for some time. These efforts will continue to improve - so that we're able to
more precisely detect existing BOTS, but more importantly so that as new BOTS are created/released, we can also prevent those from eroding the experience
when on the website.
The use of certain programs and their websites on the PartyGaming system are blocked outright. These are: WinHoldem, Holdem Memory, PokerBot plus, PokerEdge,
Poker Prophecy, Poker Sherlock and PokerBot Pro. Unfortunately, we expect to add more programs to this list; at the same time though, if any of the currently
listed programs are modified (e.g., a new release) so that the modified version no longer falls within our proscribed class, then our policy is to promptly
unblock it (the modified version).
